Canal boat

A simple wooden punt boat, called a donko-fune. These were used to ferry passengers around town canals or moats at a leisurely pace, and are based on those found in present-day Yanagawa (see photo).

Two versions are available; with or without low wooden seats. Please indicate which version you would like to order. The price is for one boat.

Printed in PLA plastic (usually grey) at 0.2mm layer height. This model comes unassembled and unpainted. Due to the nature of FDM printing some layer lines may be visible, but are mostly invisible after painting. You can sand and file down prints to achieve a smoother finish if required before painting.
