Deerscarer fountain

This is a small stone water-basin with a bamboo deer-scarer, often found near the entrance to a tea house. The guests rinse their hands and mouths before entering through a small door, which symbolically separates the small, simple, quiet inside from the crowded, overwhelming outside world.

Printed in PLA plastic (usually grey) at 0.2mm layer height. This model comes unassembled and unpainted. Due to the nature of FDM printing some layer lines may be visible, but are mostly invisible after painting. You can sand and file down prints to achieve a smoother finish if required before painting.
