Teahouse

A small chashitsu teahouse from old Japan. Tea houses are usually small, simple wooden buildings. They are located in the gardens or grounds of private homes, or temples and parks.

Traditional elements of the interior include the tokonoma alcove with hanging scroll, a lowered entrance required participants to bow to enter, tatami flooring, and sliding paper doors and windows.

Printed in PLA plastic (usually grey) at 0.2mm layer height. This model comes unassembled and unpainted. Due to the nature of FDM printing some layer lines may be visible, but are mostly invisible after painting. You can sand and file down prints to achieve a smoother finish if required before painting.
